Location-based services (LBS) company Cellflare spent two days at the Municipal Law Enforcement Association Conference in Guelph.
The conference, which runs until September 17th - ran alongside the 2009 General Meeting and is a joint planning effort between the Corporation of the City of Guelph and the Guelph Humane Society. The Municipal Law Enforcement Officers’ Association convened to discuss their training agenda.
The conference at The Delta Guelph Hotel provided a great opportunity for Cellflare to speak to members about Safety and Security Awareness, an integral part of the LBS platform.
Cellflare Spokesperson Kelvin Edmondson says, “Cellflare has an important message in terms of safety and we saw the perfect opportunity to get the message out, and doing this at such a prestigious event was invaluable.”
The Cellflare application uses your mobile devices GPS system to locate you and your contacts on the move in real time. The application boasts features such as the Quick Locate PIN, GeoFencing, eCouponing and real-time history and speed functions.
