FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep 16, 2009 -
Despite a number of public sector infrastructure projects providing work across the region, the civil engineering community has undoubtedly been shaken by the economic downturn.  Fewer projects are being awarded as the fallout from the ‘credit crunch’ continues to affect the economy in the whole of the UK.  Now, CADline, the CAD training specialists, are helping businesses by offering exclusive AutoCAD Civil 3D technical seminars to help civil engineers in the current difficult economic climate.

Increased competition for fewer projects means firms must use the 3D design and engineering technology at their disposal to deliver work of the highest quality.  This 3D technology also helps engineers avoid the errors and omissions that cause delays, increased expense and which expose them to liability.

AutoCAD Civil 3D helps civil engineers to optimise their designs with analysis, simulation and visualisation and helps them predict the outcome of projects long before they are ever built. Clients and project managers are increasingly stipulating that civil projects are delivered in 3D, where they have the added advantage of using that single model to simultaneously inform the management and operation of the projects.

Debi Peppin, Director at CADline, the leading provider of AutoCAD software and AutoCAD training courses, said “We are delighted to offer two free CADline technical seminars which will be run by our industry specialists.  These will be held in Ashford, Middlesex on 22nd September and 20th October 2009 between 9.30am and 2.30pm.  In addition to a general overview we will be providing a technical session covering areas such as surface creation and manipulation, surface styling and analysis and the production of long sections and cross sections.”

AutoCAD Civil 3D helps civil engineers explore more what-if scenarios and optimise project performance with visualisation and analysis tools such as geospatial and stormwater analysis, quantity-takeoff and interactive 3D simulations.  Places at the AutoCAD Civil 3D technical seminars are limited and can be reserved at http://www.cadline.co.uk/Content/News/Events/Civil3DSemin....

Debi added, “The seminars will be held in small groups, so participants can speak directly with our application engineers in an intimate, non-sales environment. As all of our twenty software engineers are from industry, you will be hearing from people who understand technical goals and challenges.”  For more information and to reserve a place please refer to our website at http://www.cadline.co.uk/Content/News/Events/Civil3DSeminar/Default.aspx.”
