V&A and David Textiles announce new textile license

V&A Licensing and David Textiles are pleased to announce a new licence which will bring the incredible scope of the V&A’s textile archives to the international market.

Sept. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Following an initial meeting at the Licensing International Expo 2009, the resulting deal will see a comprehensive range of fabrics and quilt kits distributed worldwide by David Textiles.

The new products will be launched in spring 2010 to coincide with the V&A’s Quilts 1700-2010 exhibition (20 March - 4 July 2010).  Interest in the products and exhibition is expected to be high with the return to traditional crafts and skills providing a new target market.

Royalties from sales of the products are covenanted to the V&A, allowing the Museum to continue its work for the benefit of future generations.
