The iGift Collection available within the application offers stunning images that can be dedicated to Facebook friends. The recipient of the virtual gift will see the branded iGift displayed on his/her Facebook Wall, along with a special message. For "private" iGifts an option to send via e-mail is available.
Each iGift is exclusively offered by iGift4u: some of the best photographers are featured in the iGift4u Collection with their best shots. Photographers have the possibility to advertise their full portfolio both within the application and in Facebook via credits, gaining unprecedented visibility of their work through iPhone and Facebook networks. Professional or amateur photographers are encouraged to send their pictures at pictures@sivola.com to become the star of iGift4u.
The iGifts in the Collection are organized per type (Flowers, Emoticons, Animals, Drinks, etc.) and events (Love, Birthday, Wedding, Friendship, etc.) and are periodically updated without requiring a full download of the application. New iGifts related to holidays such as Halloween or Christmas will be seamlessly added to the Collection when closer to the event and removed right after.
Along with the Collection, users can create their own iGifts by simply taking a nice picture with the iPhone camera, or by selecting an existing photo already present in their Album (i.e. Camera Roll).
The versatility of iGift4u allows users to also post a picture on their own wall to show their friends where they are and what they are up to: it's like sending a virtual postcard to everyone! Alternatively fun emoticons are available in the iGift Collection to help describe the mood of the moment.
Uniquely to iGift4u, users can also post personal pictures on friends' Facebook Wall: they can now send an image directly to one or more friends. They can also use this feature to invite people for a drink, dinner or poker night, using existing images form the Collection. Or simply post on friend's Wall a funny picture taken the night before.
Lastly, iGift4u can be combined with any other iPhone application processing pictures (e.g. enhancement, morphing, collage, photomontage, etc.) or creating new drawings. Users can share on Facebook their work created with those applications just by accessing it in the "Album". iGift4u makes the iPhone social!
