Dallas, Texas – American Health Care Academy partners again in 2009 with the Dallas Partnership Walk, an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. The event will be held at the Dallas City Hall Plaza on September 27, 2009. Partnership Walk is a public event to raise awareness about how people can make a difference in ending global poverty. It promotes partnerships among Americans and people in the developing world.
Through volunteerism and sponsorship American Health Care Academy supports the 2009 theme for the Walk, “Education, The Universal Bridge." As the Foundation embraces the principle of helping people to help themselves, American Health Care Academy strengthens its commitment to reach out to train and certify as many as possible in CPR and First Aid.
This is the second year the Academy will provide corporate sponsorship of the Dallas Partnership Walk. As a sponsor of the annual event American Health Care Academy joins the ranks of internationally minded individuals and socially responsible companies. The Walk raises funds for innovative, cost-effective projects that improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable – especially women and children – in some of the poorest areas of Asia and Africa.
