This year we have selected the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA, which was the first “Colored” YWCA in the United States. Their mission is to provide affordable housing and programs to women in transition to prevent homelessness, as well as, provide outreach services to children and the community. It has been in existence since 1905 and is now a place where women of all races, creeds and color can call home while finding jobs and working in the District of Columbia.
Similar events will take place across the nation as Accredited Staging Professionals®
, ASPs, will participate to improve the lives of others from September 12 until September 19, 2009, helping local organizations and individuals in their communities who are in need of Staging® services. Past benefactors have included improving such places as the Ronald Mc Donald House, nursing homes, schools, women’s shelters and assisting individuals who may be in need of selling their homes or businesses.
IAHSP International is comprised of 80 local regional chapters in the U.S and Canada with 1,500 Accredited Staging Professionals®

On a regular basis, ASPs volunteer their time, talents and personal resources to work for the betterment of the communities that they serve and transitively enhance the quality of lives through service to others.
