Information was released at noon on the 14th of September that a gaming clan known as Why So Serious? (WSS) will be running a 100 hour gaming marathon for Child's Play. The event will run from October 14th through October 18th, but donations are being collected now.
WSS plays a multitude of online games and says to have founded itself on the values of fair play, fun, and trying to make the gaming community a better place. Their newest endeavor is set to be their biggest yet. One of their members has pledged to game for an astounding 100 hours to raise money for Child's Play.
Child's Play calls themselves the true gamer's charity. They donate video games and consoles to children's hospitals all over the world in order to give the kids in them a little pick me up. Many of the kids they support don't have the ability to get out of bed, but the one thing they can do to keep their spirits up is game. That is why Child's Play set out to make the hospital stays just a little better for the children.
WSS has had a history of doing some amazing offer including monthly gaming contests, a magazine, as well as their very own broadcasting network on the internet site Justin.tv. With their latest outing they seem to be culminating all their efforts and experience from past events to make something wholly different.
WSS will be using their Justin.tv channel found at http://www.justin.tv/
