Designtech AB has earned a Certificate of Finalist Recognition in Innovation management tools at the EBN EUROLEADERS BEST TOOLS AWARD 2009. The competition took place at the 18th EBN Congress, Fez, Morocco. The EBN Annual Congress “Creative Ideas & Tools for Smart Entrepreneurs”
is dedicated to Talents and Excellence in business support, innovation and incubation practices that are put in place by Members and Partners of the EBN Network, with a special focus on Creativity & Tools. The EBN awards were segregated into 6 pre-selected categories and Business Innovation Centre’s success stories, methods, practices and performances were to be highlighted through the EuroLeaders Awards Programme. The scope of EuroLeaders in Innovation Management Tools was based on the “creativity”
in the development of Innovation Management Techniques (IMT), providing methods in mastering pipelines, milestones, portfolios, quality, conformity, value and benchmarks.
Designtech received the finalist recognition for the Virtual Incubator™ product. Virtual Incubator™ is a web based management instrument and collaborative platform developed together with Incubators uniquely for the Incubators arena. Virtual Incubator™ helps the Incubator to deal with all related document management issues and information /dissemination management and provides public features as well as private workplace features.
The concept of Virtual Incubator™ is developed by Designtech with the aim to offer Business Incubators a solution which is adapted to their specific needs. The concept has largely been developed in close collaboration with national incubators, and is based on Designtech's tool ProjectCoordinator®
. In Virtual Incubator™, documentation is stored and coupled to both the incubator's internal activities in management to the individual projects and companies that are tied to the Business Incubator. The concept collects all documentation in one place, offering a good structure and overview for all involved parties. Since the tool is web-based, all parties which are tied to the incubator are given easy access to the latest updated information, regardless of time and location.
