Richard Wilkinson is the new Technical Director at Sitex
Russian based provider of IT services has appointed Mr. Richard Wilkinson to the position of Technical Director as part of the company’s long term growth strategy.
Mr. Wilkinson, who moved from Cambridge, UK, to take the role, has more than ten years experience in the software development industry. He started his career as an embedded software engineer, developing infrastructure solutions for Voice over IP. Most recently, he was Product Manager for one of the worlds leading Voice and Video over IP solution providers. During his career, Mr. Wilkinson, has worked with and helped many clients based in the United States, the United Kingdom and the Far East.
One of the first tasks for the new Technical Director to take on is expanding the development teams at Sitex to meet the growing demand for its application development services. He will also begin implementing new working practices in order to support the company’s growth. Furthermore, Sitex will draw on Mr. Wilkinson’s marketing experience in the U.K. and U.S.A. to increase the company’s visibility throughout the English speaking world. Mr. Christof Deininger, Founder and Managing Director of Sitex, described the appointment as “a fantastic opportunity for Sitex to enter new markets”, but stressed that the company will continue to serve its existing partners and clients based in Germany, Switzerland and Austria with the same enthusiasm as it has for the last 6 years.
