In all ways, except one, Ned is like other kids. He loves to run, play and has dreams. He gets sad, sometimes mad, and even sick, but the problem is that poor Ned changes colors according to how he feels. When he’s sad, he turns blue; when he feels sick he turns a bright shade of green; and on and on his colors change and shine, bringing unwanted attention to himself. Frances G. Dillow Browning grew up in Logan County, West Virginia where reading and storytelling were some of her favorite pastimes. She graduated from the Institute of Children’s Literature in West Redding, Connecticut and has published several short stories and poems. Frances works fulltime in Administration at Marshall University School of Medicine.
