Fire Suppression Thermal Generator Non-Electric
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Sep 14, 2009 – Peripheral Manufacturing, Inc., a Denver, Colorado corporation, announces new, heat-activated, aerosol, waterless fire suppression generators that operates independently, without the need to install electronic fire control panels or monitoring systems. Self installed AERO-K® Thermal Generators are for use in small to mid-sized enclosures (electronic cabinets, CNC machines, etc.). AERO-K® Aerosol is listed on GSA Contract # GS-07F-0462V
AERO-K® aerosol generators are virtually maintenance free and have a shelf life of 10 years. The units are suitable for use in:
• Electronic Cabinets
• Flammable Liquid Storage
• Switchgear Enclosures
• Haz-Mat Storage
• CNC Machines
• Engine Compartments
• Marine Engine Rooms
• Cellular Towers
• Data Processing Equipment
• Small Boats
• Wind Turbines
• High-Value Mobile Equipment
Due to their fast response time, low fire extinguishing concentration, and environmental safety, AERO-K® fire suppression units may be used in critical applications across a wide range of industries.
In the event of a fire, AERO-K® generators can be activated either manually or automatically via the integrated thermal detector. Upon activation, the generators produce an exceptionally effective, ultra-fine, potassium-based aerosol spray. AERO-K® aerosol generators are very cost effective to install because they do not require the pressure vessels, piping or expensive installation costs associated with other extinguishing systems. Space and weight requirements are minimal and, in many applications, the small size of the AERO-K® aerosol generators makes them the only viable option. On an agent weight basis, AERO-K® aerosol is ten times more effective than gaseous agent alternatives. Fire suppression is rapidly achieved through interference between the ultra-fine aerosol particulate and the flame’s free radicals, thereby terminating propagation of the fire. AERO-K® has a ten year shelf life and almost no maintenance.
Peripheral Manufacturing, Inc. is a 28 year old manufacturer and marketer of magnetic media products, Computer and Server room Portable Air Conditioners from 10000 through 120,000 BTU’s, hard drive and magnetic tape Degaussers, and a WATERLESS electronically activated Aerosol Fire Suppression system for Server and Computer Rooms.
