Zach Myers Of Shinedown Showcases Tatco Clothing On The Today Show

Sept. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Fans tuned in on September 2nd to watch Shinedown give an outstanding performance of their platinum hit single Second Chance on the Today Show and also to see Zach Myers, guitarist for the band and spokesman for The Artist Tattoo Company, (TAT Co) showcase his newest pieces from his custom line of vests, t-shirts and shoes.

“The fans love the new vest,” said Myers.  “It’s about individuality and the ability to embrace your own vision and go out and make it real.  Clothes are just an extension of your attitude –your own vibe.  I want my clothes to reflect me.”

Myers signed with TATCO after speaking with company co-founder and fellow musician Scott Bartlett of Saving Abel, realizing the vision of the company was to create clothes inspired and designed by real rock and roll artists.  So far, members from Saving Abel, Shinedown, and Buckcherry have signed on to develop lines with TATCO and the company is expecting more to join in the near future.  

“This is a movement,” said Bartlett.  “Our fans love our music, and we understand the fashion because it’s a part of our culture.  It was natural progression to move into this project, simply because no one can really produce fashion for the rock-n-roller except the rock-n-roller if they expect get it right.”

Since Myers’ performance on the Today Show, TATCO has received daily phone calls and email requests for the vest he wore on show in addition to inquiries about other designs from the company.
