Howard Ehrsam will speak at the Condo Vultures® Seminar entitled "Chinese Drywall Trends In South Florida Real Estate" scheduled from 5.30 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Doubletree Grand Hotel just north of Downtown Miami.
Ehrsam, a Port St. Lucie, Fla., contractor has seen the physical impact of Chinese Drywall up close and personal.
The founder of Chinese Drywall Screening, LLC , in Port St. Lucie, Ehrsam has managed commercial development projects for a master planned community developer since 2003 and is a Chinese Drywall "screener". His expertise has been widely cited in such media outlets as FOX, ABC News Nightline and The Palm Beach Post.
Ehrsam will be joined on the panel by environmental engineer Jay Sall of Environmental Engineering & Consulting Services (EE&G) in Miami Lakes and litigator Allison Grant, a partner with the Boca Raton law firm of Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Gora, PA. Sall, the practice director of Industrial Hygiene & Safety at EE&G, worked on the cleanup of the World Trade Center in New York and Hurricane Katrina.
Buying groups looking for deep discounts on residential product are increasingly looking at Chinese drywall as a possible way to acquire new single-family houses and condominium towers for pennies on the dollar.
The event will include a question and answer period.
