PR Log (Press Release) –
Sep 14, 2009 – SoBizMiami.com is pleased to announce the launch of its new and improved web site. The upgraded and updated site is the result of several months of design and programming. Our goal was to convert the site from a blog to a magazine platform, and implementing several new interactive features. The implementation was completed successful by Preemo: Media + Technologies of South Miami, FL.
The new platform allows for featured articles and events, a larger, "full-page" events calendar, and additional advertising space throughout the site. The events calendar is still being powered by Trumba (www.trumba.com)
, with several Spud widgets installed on the homepage. These Spuds give navigation control and promotional capabilities to the events calendar section. The sidebar also contains links to specific pages for Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, and Technorati.
In addition to the site’s many new technical features, the graphic portion and interface have been dramatically improved. We reconfigured the site's navigation, allowing for a more user-friendly and clean interface.
And it doesn't stop there. In the coming months, we will be introducing new site features such as event promotions, photo galleries, and eventually, a social network platform. The ultimate goal is to unite business professionals and networkers in a common, online space to grow and develop business opportunities.
