DPA is returning to the Peninsula Beverly Hills to produce the “DPA gifting lounge” offering celebrities, nominees, and presenters, amazing new products and fantastic services.
During this terrible recession, DPA is helping 42 brands to expose their new products to the world, not with a month of public relations, but with the help of one event only,” the pre Emmys DPA gift suite”. Some of these brands, which cut down their pr budget, are happy to be able to expose their new products and services to the stars, and the medias.
For stars going on the red carpet, LONG MI LASHES will offer to apply new eyelashes extensions in the suite. SPHATIKAwill come back with a small version of their NY spa, offering mini treatments on site as well as some of the newly launched Sphatika skincare line, with elixir of quartz crystal, to take home. The MASSAGE EXPRESS will install for the three days massages tables and on site luxury massages for the pleasure of the DPA guests. MERCEDES PERFUMES will launch its new perfume SMILE, and will still gift its “jus d’amour”, Nettie Davis of NETTIE SCRUB will provide very exclusive manicures, offering similar treatments than the ones done for creative shoots like Vanity Fair, In Style, and Lucky publications. Floyd’s 99 Barbershop will offer to the DPA’s guests grooming for men, and hair blow drys.

For very special gifts, guests could pick up some great items from Harlem’s SWING concept store (the best of the best in the world, the “COLETTE” of Harlem!) and KUMI KOOKOON, specialized in silk loungewear, sleepwear and gorgeous linen. Finally FEENIEBEADIE, a coveted line of Canadian non-pareil jewellery, with its striking necklaces in exquisite silver, swarovski crystals and semi precious stone will expose and gift unique pieces. ENERGETIX, magnet therapy jewellery, a favorite of the stars since 2005, will return with new items.
The DPA gifting suites always have fantastic gift bags: The ecogreen gift bag features products from Tsila, Green House Soy Company, Wooly Pockets, Dandelion, Napa Soap company, Calibowls. Pupperazi and BowHaus will represent the pet gift bags. The men’s gift bags will feature Ravi wine cooler, tequila Clase Azul and William Neely perfumes. The most coveted bags will be the two baby gift bags: One all prepared by Dandelion, the other one featuring Cloud b, Babychix, Calibowls. Finally, a Pilates bag courtesy of Kara Pilates, will compete with the wellness bag produced by Exhale Spa.

The gift lounge will be set up in 3 suites at the Peninsula Beverly Hills and opened to guests September 17th to 19th, 2009, 10am to 6pm. The lounge is expected to welcome many A-list celebrities from the TV world, such as nominees Beau Bridges, Sigourney Weaver, Aaron Staton, Terry O’ Quinn, Matthew Weiner….
