15 yr old Monica Healy takes Teens 4 a Cause to the Movies and the Toronto International Film Festival
TORONTO , CANADA , September 11, 2009 – What do a British pop singer, an immunology researcher and pro soccer player have in common? They are all meeting with 15 year old Monica Healy for interviews in and around the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). She is gaining momentum for her charity and leading teens by example.
Between September 11-13th she will be zig-zagging around Toronto to meet with up with different leaders in multiple industries to discuss Teens 4 a Cause ( http://www.teens4acause.com ) and to gain some steam behind this worthy charity.
On Friday, Monica will meet with Sodaliscious Fashion designer, Cindy Mathieu; Hilary Weaver, 18 year old pop singer as she launches her new album; Janine-Marie Parkinson, local actress and cancer survivor; and Dr. Mobin Karimi, researcher of immunology at Sunnybrook hospital.
Saturday and Sunday will be the continuation for the Teens 4 a Cause, philanthropic leader’s quest to rally support by meeting with professional soccer player, Natalie Spilger of the Chicago Red Stars; Argentinean actress, Estefania Iglesias, Actor, Laz Alonso and Victoria Aitken the British pop singer.
Monica Healy will be meeting with these celebrities and others who are still ironing out the times and locales during the TIFF. She is taking full advantage of this festival to trumpet her cause and to show teens all across North America they can accomplish anything.
