The Designer Show House of Westchester, Wine Cellar Tasting Room
Denise and her team have been awarded the Wine Cellar Tasting Room to design and decorate for presentation on guided tours. All proceeds are to benefit Cerebral Palsy of Westchester. A special Gala night takes place on October 1st. The house is then open to the public from October 2, – November 8, 2009. Press week takes place from Wed, Sept. 23rd – Tues Sept. 29th 2009. The Wine Cellar Tasting Room is a semi-octagonal space that will be transformed to feel as if you are visiting a vineyard in Europe. Detailed decorative painting sets the scene on the walls in the room, after walking down a long corridor that holds 5,000 bottles of wine. The Tasting Room has been described as “truly unique” and the “most memorable room in the house”.
