Clearwater, FL – National media network, MSNBC, invited Joy Gendusa, CEO and founder of marketing company, PostcardMania, back on the “Your Business” show for a 2nd interview, this time to share tips on effective marketing design.
Gendusa flew out to New York to shoot the segment at the world-famous 30 Rockefeller Center NBC studios. Anchorwoman JJ Ramberg and Gendusa talk about what designs work best for various types of print marketing such as postcards, flyers and storefront banners. In the interview, Gendusa shares tips and tricks on fonts, graphics, which colors work best together and the overall message.
Earlier this year, “Your Business” did a featured 9-minute segment on Joy and PostcardMania on the subject of ‘Free Marketing Education’. The story got great reviews. Jennifer Hill, Vice President of Astia (a non-profit organization which helps female entrepreneurs find funding) said, “In this economy, consumers are looking for value and they’re looking for people to help them really grow their business. She’s clearly done a great job of establishing herself as an expert and making that energy contagious with her employees.”
Rod Kurtz, Senior Editor of Inc. Magazine said, “she [Joy] is genuinely helping these people and they’re going to come to her and bring in business” when commenting on Gendusa’s free marketing advice blog. So when the time came to look for credible sources for this Sunday’s interview, Gendusa’s name quickly came to mind. Next thing you know, it’s off to New York!
The new segment will air this coming Sunday, September 13 at 7:30am EST on MSNBC.
