Chickasaw.AL. Chickasaw Founders Day 2010 Committee today announced the first Community-Wide Yard Sale at Miller Park on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
Yard sale participants may set-up their tables, chairs and outdoor canopies from 5:30 –7 a.m. Miller Park is off Interstate 65, Exit 10, West Lee Street, at the corner of Dumont and Lee Streets.
The yard sale is open to individuals, antique vendors, schools, nonprofit and church organizations, and community groups. Spaces are available to rent to individuals or groups wishing to participate. A 10’x10’ space is $10 in advance and $20 on day of event. More than one space may be reserved by an individual or group. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own tables and chairs. Outdoor canopies are permitted.

The community-wide yard sale will benefit Chickasaw Founders Day 2010, the 64th celebration of this historical city and honoring Alabama 2010 Year of the Small Towns & Downtowns scheduled for Oct. 30, 2010.
