A new video by Catholic sisters in Texas explains how St. Benedict’s mission is carried out today in the sisters’ work and life.
The video, made by the Benedictine Sisters of South Texas, explains that the Benedictine Order was founded in the sixth century during a time of a lack of faith and morals. The video traces how the saint’s life exercised a fundamental influence on the development of European civilization and culture, and today, how today the sisters, with a life of prayer, work and conversion, seek to be a transforming presence in our present-day culture of death.
