Microwave Water Leaking Detection Process

Microwave Tomography is an Effective and Reliable method to locate WATER content in comparing with other traditional visual methods. Over hundreds of Water Leaking Cases in Hong Kong are being helped by us to solve Water Leaking Problems.
This survey is carried out by emitting microwave to the structure of the testing materials by using microwave sensor head touching to the measured surface to produce electric field inside the structure of testing materials. Since the material will have different response in electric field, and WATER has a great effect as comparatively with others, so, if electric field is produced, the molecules of water trapped inside the materials will be vibrated and rearranged. Following to the electric field induced by microwave and the great different dielectric constant between water and all other building materials, so, even a little bit amount of water trapped inside the materials can be easily detected.
After all readings collected, all the measurement points will be mapped with software, the moisture condition and location of moisture trapped in the materials will be indicated in a defined graphical matrix figure and highlighted by different colour.
