Start by buying some land from a Real Estate Agent for 1k. You can buy from Varrock, Falador, Seer's Village and East Ardounge. After buying the land you can access it through Rimmington portal.

Rich mans way:
Lvl 1 - 16: Buy 500iron nails and 100 planks than make crude wooden chairs.
At lvl 16 : Build a Workshop for 10k.
Lvl 16 - 32: Buy 230 oak planks, you don't need nails. Build pluming stands.
At Level 32: Build an oak workbench with 5 oak planks.
Levels 32 - 99: Build carved oak tables at your work bench, around 217,000 oak
planks are needed

Poor mans way:
