This is an annual event, and is expected to have 5,000 attendees this year. Registration opens at 8:00 AM with health information booths from Nordstrom’s, Privacy Wear; Clothing with a Cause, Susan G. Komen, American Cancer Society, Kaiser Permanente, Corona Regional, Corona Jazzercise, The Yoga Den to name just a few. Immediately following the walk, the stores and restaurants at The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos will be open welcoming walkers with specials.
Registration for the event costs $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 8yrs to 12yrs and 7 yrs and under free. Team registration is encouraged, and will include photos.
All proceeds from the Breast Cancer Walk support The Foundation for Community and Family Health Breast “Health Detection Program” for our local community. These early detection programs are free and enable women and men in the community to receive free mammograms, breast exams, breast ultrasounds and necessary biopsies.
Located in Corona, California, The Foundation for Community and Family Health is a private nonprofit organization that serves children, youth, seniors and families in Corona, Norco and surrounding Western Riverside communities of Southern California. The Foundation for Community and Family Health has a strong commitment to fund programs and services that address the unmet needs in the community.
