Akron Family Magazine is a local publication featuring parenting articles, tips, and fun activities for the whole family.
With an interest in photography as far back as in high school and years of photography experience on an amateur level, this year Jennifer Jenison decided to take her love for photography to the next level and to start doing photography professionally.
Jennifer started her business completely on her own, spending hours and hours researching how to start a business, the best camera equipment, and photography terminology, and taking clues from her mentor, an experienced photographer of 20 plus years.
"I have been told by a few people...when I put my mind into something I want to do...its all or nothing. There is no meeting in the middle.” says Jenison.
That spirit along with her talent for capturing special family moments shines through in every photography session that she does.
Jennifer focuses her photography on pregnancies, babies/children and families but also photographs engaged couples and their weddings.
“I am very excited about this journey I am embarking on." says Jenison.
After being informed that the Editor of Akron Family Magazine loved the photo for the September 2009 issue so much that they want her to photograph for the cover of the October issue Jennifer was excited and honored.
