In the past 4 years Linda’s artworks have rapidly gained in recognition and value, experiencing in excess of a 300% return in this period. Currently represented by 14 renowned galleries throughout Australia, Linda is the top selling artist in more than half of these galleries.
Highly respected art curator Paola Trevisan of Trevisan Arte, in Italy, became aware of Linda’s artwork through recommendations from colleagues whom had heard of Linda’s rapid rise in the modern art scene within Australia. Paola personally contacted Linda and requested her participation in the annual international art exhibition held in the famous Estense Castle Museum. The four-towered moated castle was initially built in 1385 and then partly rebuilt again in 1554. Containing some of Italy’s finest frescoes by pupils of Dosso Dossi (1489/90-1542)
When recently interviewed regarding the upcoming international exhibition Linda stated “I feel so privileged and a little overwhelmed at my invitation to exhibit in Estense Castle in Ferrara. I knew that my artworks were gaining acclaim locally and I have sold quite a number of pieces to collectors in Europe but I hadn’t realized that I had caught the eye of prominent curators and art critics in Europe. I am just so excited.” Linda will be exhibiting 10 of her artworks at the exhibition called “IMAGINARY JOURNEYS” from October 24 - November 01, 2009.
