Douglasville Dance Competition

Competitors will dance Saturday, October 24th during the Douglasville Downtown Development Authority’s (DDA) Fall Main Street Community Market. Dance schools and dance troupes of all types are invited to participate. Each dance school may enter up to two dance groups. No individual acts will be allowed. Acts must be appropriate for all audiences. A first, second, and third place winner will be selected and announced at the end of the competition.
If you are interested in showing Douglasville you can dance, you must contact Kimberly Weaver at weaverk@ci.douglasville.ga.us to register. The registration deadline is Friday, October 16th. A registration fee of $10 per dance school and dance troupe applies.

s So You Think You Can Dance competition will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on October 24th on O’Neal Plaza with the winners announced around 4:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and Hit the Bricks and watch local dance talent take center stage during the DDA Fall Main Street Community Market. Let the real competition begin!
