Eight Years After 9/11, Answers Emerge About Radical Islam on September 13 Coral Ridge Hour

While some critics assert that Muslim theology does not present an inherent danger, experts appearing on the Sunday broadcast point to verses in the Koran, Islam’s holy book, to prove otherwise.
The Koran states in Surah 5:73 that, “‘infidels are those who believe God is one of three in a trinity,’” notes William J. Federer, author of What Every American Needs to Know About the Quran. Federer adds that the Koran also urges Muslims to “‘make war on the infidels who dwell around you. When you meet them on the battlefield, strike off their heads. Kill the disbeliever wherever you find him.’”
These are “very disconcerting verses in the Koran that label Christians as infidels and then say to go ahead and commit violence against them,” he said.
The nationally broadcasted program notes that although militant Islamists have not been successful in striking the United States since 9/11, Islamic extremists have been responsible for deadly bombings in England, Spain, Pakistan, and elsewhere.
“A moderate Muslim thinks the world will submit to Allah in the distant future, but a violent Muslim thinks that the world will submit to Allah now, and they want to help make it happen,” said Federer, also a featured expert on the new Coral Ridge Ministries documentary, Radical Islam on the March, which airs in two parts on September 20 and 27.
