‘BOTOX Party of India’: Indian women voting for it

Dr. Kapoor, one of the top Botox experts of India, was speaking at a special ‘Botox Party’ organized today at the Central Club,  Chandigarh in collaboration with Fortis Hospital, Mohali and Allergan, makers of Botox. Over 110 ladies of all age groups attended the event.

Talking about the emerging trend of ‘Age reversal’ cosmetic procedures, Dr. Kapoor said, “As is visible from the various campaigns launched by companies promoting skin care products, it is evident that the trend of Anti aging is catching fast with the women of today.  Statistics reveal that 70% of people are willing to undergo cosmetic procedures due to which we are constantly acquiring latest technologies to give our patients youthful looking skin.”

With cosmetic procedures becoming fast and simple and gaining popularity as ‘lunch break procedures’, Dr. Kapoor said, “Earlier, the entire concept of anti aging cosmetic surgery  was related to surgical procedures like facelift for loose skin in those above 50 years. Till few years ago, there were no means to fix a thin lip or facial wrinkles until age related changes were too obvious. Now we have procedures like Botox and Fillers for this group of patients between 30-45 years, who want to keep looking young without first getting the ‘Old’ looks.   The time taken for Botox is so minimal that one can get this treatment done during ones lunch break! These procedures are highly economical too as   compared to other beauty parlour procedures with dubious benefits.
