Through various showcases to be held throughout the Atlanta area, ButtaCup will be able to provide a unique platform for maximum exposure and increased fan base, all while allowing opportunities to network with music industry executives and other aspiring artists, as well as to develop an artist’s or band’s craft.
ButtaCup's mission is simply this, “Spreading noise, one artist at a time”, meaning ButtaCup is all about the love of music, and aspires to have every labelmate to embody the same sentiment.
Terica Pearson, ButtaCup’s CEO/founder, has been an accomplished drummer for over 20 years, including 15 years of business management experience. She has been given the opportunity to play with a variety of artists, including the Atlantis Band, Black Coffee , Not From Here, jazz recording artist Fuzzy Brothers and the Sean Shuffler Band. In addition, she has participated in several studio sessions for major recording artists. She has also successfully managed several independent recording artists, focusing on each artist’s individual development. Terica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a Master’s degree in Management and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational Development.
On September 24, 2009, ButtaCup Entertainment, Inc. will be hosting its first Artist’s Showcase at Club Miami, located at 3011 Buford Hwy NE in Atlanta from 9pm until 2am, and all aspiring artists and bands are encouraged to attend. Come and spread noise with Terica and ButtaCup.
