Bormioli Rocco is one of the first companies to launch R-HDPE on the market, as a direct result of its partnership with a leading producer of recycled materials. Test results have been extremely positive in terms of quality and processability, making this polymer ideal for jars, bottles and plastic closures.
It also has ample scope for decoration.
Other eco-friendly members of the Ecological line include bottles produced from 100% recycled PET, which offers superior transparency compared with many similar products and the similar clarity as virgin PET. The polymer is already used by many companies and its popularity is increasing due to the numerous possibilities for customisation.
Two resins from renewable sources, PLA and Green PE, complete the line-up of Ecological materials. In particular, PLA is already used to produce eco-friendly bottles for ranges of natural products such as detergents and emulsions for hair.
