Can We Fall In Love With Our Lives?

This silent killer will be the second most common health problem by 2020!  What is worse is that more than eighty percent of people suffering from depression keep it in. They undergo no treatment, they talk to no one and they do not enjoy life. It affects people regardless of age, gender, culture, race, lifestyle, country, and socioeconomic conditions. Without a commonly accepted cause for depression, the solution tends to consider therapy and medication.

After experiencing the impact depression had on her family, Alicia Castillo Holley, embarked on a journey to help others regain their inner joy, creating a program and a site. “Depression almost killed one of my children –says the author- we no longer take happiness for granted. In the process, we learned to reconsider what success was.  I did not expect it to become a book, but family and friends started requesting it and after several thousands of emails I decided to write it. We expect others to be perfect and to love us for who we are, but we don’t do enough to love our lives, and in the process, we create lives we don’t love.”
