Best-selling Author Dean Koontz Guests on Animal Radio®

Writer Dean Koontz returns for this weekend's AM/FM and XM Satellite Radio broadcast of Animal Radio® (Sept. 12th).

The frequent guest-host of the popular syndicated animal talk program is back to show off his latest creation, his first non-fiction novel about his long-time furry-friend, ‘Trixie.’

Koontz tells Animal Radio® listeners that he was extremely close to his Golden Retriever, and was distraught with her death.  He says “writing the best-seller was cathartic.”

Trixie Koontz had a column of her own, and was a great author too (although we suspect Dean may have been the ghost-writer). An earlier book by the dog (Bliss to You) did very well.  Dean says he was jealous when her book outsold his novels.

Dean Koontz shares his work with Canine Companions for Independence and explores our connection with our furry friends.
