If your being ripped off from getting full pay, if your tired of working tons of hours and being taken advantage of, then get out of that rat race that’s called a job!
In some big cities like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Las Vegas employees are not getting paid even minimum wage. According to a new study, the average low-wage urban worker makes $339 a week, their being cheated out of $51.00. This is being done by lower minimum wage pay, no over time pay, off the clock work hours, even preventing workers compensation claims.
Studies also show that 76 percent of workers that worked overtime were not paid the overtime rate required by law. At least two-thirds of the workers had to work through their lunch break, or had them shortened with no breaks before or after.
Researchers found that women, immigrants, and people of color were the most likely to experience this type of violation. Three quarters of the workers had a high school degree or less.
A hotel worker was interviewed and found that her supervisor would go to the hotel rooms before her and take the tips that had been left for her. She was also required to work more hours than she was paid for. When she complained about it, the supervisor found some reason or another to fire her, that her services were no longer needed.
The government has not been able to keep up with every business that is doing this, as when the claims come in, the people are no longer employed there for proof of this happening.
When Julianne Rowat, CEO of Ultimate Wealth From Home read this article she commented: “If your sick and tired of being taken advantage of, and being ripped off from the pay that is yours, then do what I did. I found an internet marketing business.”
She continued to tell the press that “In my business it doesn’t matter whether you’re a man or woman, what color you are, whether you have a high school education or not, or even what language you speak. We are in over 100 countries now and market in 42 different languages. The money you work for is your money. You can take breaks whenever you want, work what ever hours you want and no boss to rip you off.”
The Press thanked Mrs. Rowat for her comment, but stated: “We’re glad that your business is there to help some, but the facts are facts in the nine to five world of a job in the rat race.”
