Selene Annapolis Launches Charter Enterprise

Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Selene Annapolis Yachts has recently added a charter division to their yacht and brokerage company and is offering charter opportunities on board select Selene yachts in the Chesapeake Bay area. A Selene 53 has been available for charter since last fall and hull number one of the next generation Selene 47 will join the charter fleet once commissioning is complete. Charter packages are available with a four day minimum from April through November. The Selene 53 has been chartered twice already since June with a third charter booked for September and a fourth in October.

Chartering is an ideal way to try before buying, and under the instruction and guidance of a licensed USCG captain it is also a great way to explore the many unique areas of the Chesapeake Bay in comfort and luxury.  The Selene 53 in charter is Isis, a 2005 trawler yacht. She has three staterooms, two heads, and can comfortably sleep four guests and a captain. Qualified charterers may bareboat allowing six guests to enjoy the cruise. Saloon seating is designed to entertain six guests, and the flybridge can comfortably accommodate them at the open-air table and seating arrangement. Isis is luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything one would need to cruise in comfort. Isis is spacious and comfortable for a couple, a family, or friends.

Holiday is a brand new 2009 Selene 47, and will complete commissioning in the fall. With two staterooms and two heads, she can comfortably sleep four guests bareboating, or two guests and a captain.

Captained charters are structured to the preferences of the guests and can be as educational and hands-on as the customer would like. Typical charters are four to five days. Extended charters and bareboat charters can be discussed with Selene Annapolis.
