Together, Wowza, http://www.wowzamade.com, a marketing firm in Minneapolis, and Minnesota Community Measurement, a nonprofit collaborative of health care organizations and professionals dedicated to improving quality care, designed and developed the cost-comparison tool, the first of its kind in the nation.

Minneasota HealthScores, http://www.mnhealthscores.org, provides consumers with new cost-of-care measures on what medical providers charge on average for over 100 common medical procedures, ranging from flu shots and strep tests to colonoscopies.
