TaylorCraft Cabinet Door Company announced they are now manufacturing custom, dovetail drawer boxes. They say the addition of dovetail drawer boxes to their primary product line, custom cabinet doors, allows them to be a more complete and convenient source for cabinetmakers outsourcing cabinet components. Heide Osborn, Marketing Director, notes, “A strong dovetail joint is especially important in applications where there is frequent or prolonged use, or drawers are filled with heavy items, as in silverware drawers, pull-out pan and appliance shelves and file drawers. Our dovetail drawer boxes are the perfect addition to custom cabinets and furniture because they combine the strength of dovetail construction and the beauty of natural wood.”

Their dovetail boxes come preassembled and are available unfinished or with a clear finish. Their dovetail box sides are available in 1/2” Select or Natural Maple or 5/8” Baltic Birch. Their bottom material options include 1/4” Select Maple, Natural Maple or Natural Birch or 1/2” Select or Natural Maple or Baltic Birch. They say they offer additional material options by request.
