Stanza set to release I AM STANZA: THE ANTHOLOGY
Atlanta, GA - September 08, 2009 - Hip-Hop artist Stanza is set to world-premiere his highly anticipated project, IamStanza: The Anthology, made available exclusively to his fans earlier this week with the launch of his brand new website www.iamstanza.com.
IamStanza: The Anthology is more than a mixtape. Described by DJ Judgemental as "a mental journey" it is a compilation of new material and re-produced songs from an earlier project. On the heels of his two critically acclaimed performances on B.E.T.'s 106 & Park Wild Out Wednesday, and with the on-going recognition of his hit single "ATL" (A Town Love), Stanza sets forth to prove that he is more than just one record, and give the people a look at where he's come from to where he's headed as an artist. "I realized that I had a large stash of literary works which had been compiled over time that needed to be shared with those who are willing to listen. With the idea to create "The Anthology" on his mind, it was a no brain-er for Stanza to team up with DJ Judmental and DJ Too Much to make the vision come to life. A combination of "A-Town Love" with a little "Dirt Law" and a lot of respect between these three talents, makes this collaboration an undeniable masterpiece. IamStanza: The Anthology begins with DJ Too Much doing a clever mix of "ATL," and later includes the introspective cult favorite "A Million Dollars" both produced by DJ Teknology. In addition to those fan favorites, there is the Young Guru produced "Sometimes" that has Stanza spitting relationship game over an orchestral soulful sound scape.
