It’s a Family Affair at the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance

Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- At the Studio, “It’s All About the Kids!” with children learning dance and developing inner character and strengths through their experience with the performing arts.  Many of “the kids” at the Studio are sisters, some performing together, and others simply enjoying different types of dance in the same family.  Some other sister combos include Kelsey and Maddie McMahon; Kelsey, Christine, and Catherine Ryan; Karlie and Courtney Sivetz; Catherine, Alene, and Elizabeth Forsyth; Grace and Lily Katich; Nicole and Christina Signore; Alex, Lauren, and Brooke Revere; Devin and Bailie Stypa; Emma and Grace Chiusano; and Maddie and Tabatha Brand.

The Kathryn Barnett School of Dance is dedicated to teaching life skills and appreciation of the arts through dance.  At the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance, you will find skilled and understanding teachers and staff trained to ensure that each child's dance training will be a positive experience.  Each child's individual capabilities are carefully observed and developed in a caring yet disciplined atmosphere.  Studio opens for the season on September 14, 2009.

The Kathryn Barnett School of dance is dedicated to:

In the 2008-2009 school year, the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance celebrated 25 years of dance.  Mrs. Barnett, a recipient of Who's Who Among America's Teachers, holds a Master's Certificate in Dance, and is a teacher certified in NJ K-12.  She is a dance instructor at the Red Bank Charter School and First Friends - Summer Friends Pre-school in Matawan.  In the 15 years Karin Richman (Assistant Director) has been at the studio, she has won many awards - 2 Choreography awards, 7 Entertainment awards, and many High Score awards.  Mrs. Barnett has also won numerous choreography and entertainment awards.  Her positive energy has influenced her students to achieve not only a high level of dance training but self-confident poise as well.
