Marlton, NJ -- CFG Health Network formally launched it's newest division, InSight Telepsychiatry, provider of telepsychiatric services, with presentations on June 9th, 2009 at the Mid-Atlantic States Correctional Association (MASCA) annual conference in Annapolis, Md and on June 18, 2009 at the New Jersey Association of Counties in Atlantic City, NJ.
InSight Telepsychiatry utilizes high tech video conferencing technology to provide emergent psychiatric services to patients in police stations, correctional facilities and hospitals located in remote areas.
Featured speakers included InSight Executive Vice President Brian Levin; CFG Health Systems Director of Correctional Medicine Sandra Bernavon; as well as President of the Middlesex County Chief of Police Association Ray Hayducka who spearheaded the implementation of InSight's services through the Middlesex County Shared Services project and who spoke about the behavioral health cost savings generated through these efforts.
According to InSight Telepsychiatry Executive Director, Geoffrey Boyce, "CFG's commitment to InSight Telepsychiatry really stems from our parent company's extensive' experience in bringing cost-effective health care services to individuals in remote locations. Launching a new entity exclusively dedicated to leveraging the potential benefits of new technologies seemed to be a natural extension of the company's overall mission."
In addition to InSight Telepsychiatry, CFG Health Network is the parent corporation for both CFG Health Systems, provider of medical and mental services to health care and correctional facilities and Center For Family Guidance, P.C., a New Jersey based provider of outpatient mental health services.
