Cleaning For A Reason
Louisville, KY On July 22, 2009 Cleaning for a Reason Foundation announced their first Kentucky charter Partner, Off Top Cleaning, Staging, & More. Cleaning For A Reason is the nation’s first non-profit organization dedicated to providing free house cleaning services for women undergoing cancer treatment.
Catherine Crabtree, founder of Off Top Cleaning, Staging, & More, lost Her grandmother to Brain cancer, and lost a Great Grandmother to cancer. So Catherine is no stranger to the challenges facing a person struggling to survive with cancer. Catherine was drawn to the important ways She could help women with cancer, by providing house cleaning services through Off Top Cleaning, Services, & More.
Debbie Sardone, Founder of Cleaning for a Reason Foundation, said, “Maid services have been doing this in small ways for years. Our Partners, such as Catherine Crabtree, have had a hard time turning down a woman who needs her house cleaned when she is battling cancer and cannot afford a maid service. I decided to form a foundation so that we could extend support across the entire country.”
The monthly pledges of time and money from individual maid services help fund the Foundation’s base operations while providing free cleaning to women with cancer.
“It’s great to be part of a nationwide support system for such an important issue, improving the lives of women fighting cancer. What it means most to me is giving something of real value back to the community that we serve,” said Catherine Crabtree.
Off Top Cleaning, Staging, & More is officially introducing their involvement with Cleaning For A Reason and is overwhelmed with the positive, enthusiastic response they have already received from concerned citizens, donors, corporate supporters and their Clients.
