The Coburg Station Vies for AIA's People's Choice Award at the Eugene Celebration

The New Coburg Station Commercial Development at 440 Coburg Road is on display at this year's Eugene Celebration as it vies for the 20th Annual AIA's People's choice Award.

Sept. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Eugene, OR    The local firm, TBG Architects and Planners, Inc, that helped design Eugene's newest retail center created the attached display board for the annual AIA's People's Choice Awards. The American Institute of Architects Southwestern Oregon Chapter offers the People's Choice Awards to showcase the work of local architects, landscape architects, & design professionals. The program strives to spotlight design excellence and demonstrate what the  architecture profession provides to enhance the built environment.

The public can view  the Coburg Station display and the other entries for this year's AIA's People's Choice Award at the Orissa building at the corner of Broadway and Willamette until the Eugene Celebration wraps up this Sunday afternoon.  The public is also encouraged to vote for their favorite designs in several categories during the Eugene Celebration.  The winners of the 2009 AIA's People's Choice Award will be announced at the Chapter's September meeting, and in the Eugene Register Guard.

Local Partners of the Master Capital Management,  J. Scott McKee and Steve Masters, own the Coburg Station that boasts 13 storefronts in the popular area in North Eugene.
