Abstract: Even in a time with great economic and financial uncertainty, the IT and business landscape continues to change at a frenetic pace. This adoption has also changed in the last couple of years from an almost exclusively centrally procured process to one where individuals can go to their local store and purchase their smartphone of choice. This is a trend that has only accelerated with the advent of the iPhone and other consumer friendly devices that have the capability of connection to corporate email and other back end applications. This proliferation of individually liable devices increases the importance of and need for central mobility management solutions for secure, scalable mobility in the enterprise.
