Flagstaff, Arizona -- Dan Wittig, Missions Committee Chair of Trinity
Heights United Methodist Church (THUMC), invited all in Northern
Arizona to attend a "Missions Block Party" and rummage sale on
Saturday, September 12 from 8 am to 2 pm.
"We're giving it all away for missions," Wittig said. "Many families
have donated valuable items for the Missions Block Party and Rummage
Sale. They have a heart for missions, and so are giving worldly items
away, to help benefit people here in Flagstaff and others around the
world." The THUMC Missions Committee supports over 15 local and global
missions including Hope Cottage and Sunshine Rescue Mission, the
Salvation Army, Flagstaff Family Food Center, Northern Arizona Food
Bank, Faithworks, New Horizons and Prayer Watch International.
Come and meet your neighbors and make new friends at the Block Party. Family Fun! Free event. FREE live music, "Bounce House" fun, face painting and games will be
provided. You can buy lunch and homemade bakery goods. All proceeds
will go to help those in need. The rummage sale will coincide with the
Block Party at 3600 N 4th St, Flagstaff, AZ from 8 am to 2 pm. No
early birds, please.
