Jennie Walker Signs Worldwide Distribution Deal of New Album "It's My Time"

Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Jennie Walker a seasoned singer / songwriter, who has showcased her stunning and soothing voice internationally, as well as garnering a large American following, is set to release her much-anticipated debut album, "It's My Time", just in time for Christmas 2009.

Having performed for international notables abroad, including Nelson Mandela's wife, Graça Machel, in Mozambique, this seasoned performer and daughter of an infantry officer creates a mosaic of life's questions, and evokes images of romance and passion in their resolution. This album represents a new beginning for Jennie - part of a journey, which began for her as a teenage songwriter and is now culminating to a completed album full of the nuances which only come from life experience. Jennie was born at Ft. Hood, Texas, near Belton and resides in New York City.

Maintaining her commitment to be an advocate for important societal issues, Jennie will be donating a percentage of the proceeds of her album to World Hunger Year (WHY), The Carter Center and Synergos Institute.

Jennie Walker is set to release her debut album of 12 soulfully personal songs on December 10, 2009, which will have a physical distribution through Universal Music Group and will be distributed digitally by The Orchard NY.
