Feeding The Homeless Monthly In East Palo Alto, Ca

A Bridge 4 Success in conjunction with the East Palo Alto Merchants Association begins feeding the homeless monthly.

Sept. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- A Bridge 4 Success in conjunction with the East Palo Alto Merchants Association will begin feeding the homeless monthly starting Saturday September 5, 2009 in the PAL Market parking lot at 2384 Cooley Ave (University & Bay) at 12:00pm until all spaghetti meals are given away and then monthly there after.
   “We are blessed to have this opportunity to help the needy in our community” said Pasepa Niu, board member of A Bridge 4 Success.  
   A Bridge 4 Success services not just the Polynesians in the community but all youth to achieve a college degree or trade.  We guide 19+ year olds that have completed high school within the last few years and or dropped out of college through the steps to being admitted and funding needed to achieve higher learning.  Our goal is to increase awareness in the importance of education, health, violent free relationships and balanced lifestyles in our community.
   Viliami Sanft, board member of A Bridge 4 Success stated, “My brother Alo is attending Idaho State University because of this organization.  It is a dream come true for our whole family. He is an example that a kid from East Palo Alto can attend a University.“  
   In kind and cash donations always welcome.  Underwriting, Sponsorship and Vendor opportunities still available for 10/30/2009 and 6/12/2010 events.
