BRS President, Paul Reed, has been in the asset tracking and barcode industry for over 20 years. Due to his knowledge and experience with RFID and his involvement in the Nashville Chambers Group, Reed was invited to write an article on the benefits of RFID technology.
Reed, as several other business owners, has been successfully fighting and triumphing over this economy. One solution he talks about is RFID. He emphasizes that the "hidden dollars don't require pink slips" but instead one can use an automated and time saving manner for monitoring your inventory.
As technology so often does, RFID has advanced AND gone down in price at the same time. Reed stresses that in this economy, it's critical that you are able to easily identify where you are spending dollars. And if your money is spent wasting time tracking all your inventory, RFID is the solution. It's a relief to hear that in this economy, RFID is easy to use and easy on the pocket book as Reed points out.
Remember, by automating both your inventory and personnel, you will save more than just hidden dollars; you'll save those pink slips as well. So thank goodness for technology and for fellow business professional's advice.
