ORLANDO – Electric Bear Studios’ Krysta’s Kingdom to feature music by Dan Nowicki of Fogdan, Boogie, Blues and Beyond.
Prior to the series release, Nowicki picked up a Florida Motion Picture Television Association award for best music composer. The series also won four other awards for best children’s program, best editing and best director - Sam Siragusa ; and best director of photography – John O’Hara.
In 2004 Nowicki suffered an injury to one eye leaving him with a lot of time on his hands while he recuperated. He then decided to turn this unexpected situation into an opportunity to revive his passion for music and further his musical aspirations, thus creating the band Fogdan.
“I picked up a couple of guitars, a piano, and a good mixing / editing program and have been writing music like crazy ever since—loving every minute and wondering why it took me so long to get back on track,” said Nowicki. “Krysta’
The premise for Krysta’s Kingdom is the main character Krysta, played by Britany Duchaine, is stranded on a magical, deserted island when Milo the hummingbird pops her hot air balloon. When she begins exploring the island she meets many friends, including Rudy the rubber duck, a magic mirror, and Lady Liz the lady bug.

Not only is the television series designed to be educational for viewers, but also the Web site features many resources for children and parents alike, including the Book Nook, a lab, spelling quizzes, cooking tips, and more.
Krysta’s Kingdom can be seen on Kids and Teens Television on Saturday mornings at 7:30 and Saturday afternoons at 1:30, starting Sept. 10.
