Sparkling like no other event, The Crystal Ball will be held at The Ritz Carlton Millenia located in the very heart of Singapore’s prestigious Grand Prix racing circuit, on the evening of Thursday 24th September 2009.
Supported by 1996 Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill, O.B.E. in aid of the Down Syndrome Association (Singapore), guests will be swept into the lavish world of The Crystal Ball from the moment they arrive, stepping back to the era of the 1930’s Vanity Fair Oscar’s Party and The Great Gatsby, the Vintage Moet & Chandon Champagne fountain will flow and cocktails served will be inspired by an era of decadence.
As guest dine on slow confit of Loch fine salmon heart rolled in nori on mirrin scented omelet, followed by twelve hour slow braised beef brisket in Perigourdine essence topped with seared foie gras, the evening will be filled with a continuous entertainment extravaganza set in the round featuring legendary Jazz and Bossanova greats. The night’s crescendos will feature the most exquisite salon showing of Jayson Brunsdon gowns made especially for the occasion.
The Crystal Ball aims to raise S$200,000 for the Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) (DSA). Donations raised will be directed to DSA's educational and enrichment programmes which benefit the Down syndrome community and their families in Singapore.
