Sept. 2, 2009 - PRLog -- All Waste, LLC, was started in 1998 with a single Mack truck and 12 roll-off dumpsters.  Today, Sherman runs an all-Mack fleet of 18 trucks and more than 1200 dumpsters.   Other services include portable storage containers, trash pick-up, and delivery of landscaping supplies including mulch, sod, top-soil, and crush aggregate.  http://thegarbageman.com/

Every trash hauling and dumpster rental company in the industry knows that there are only three roads to take after your garbage has been picked up:  The “burn” road, the recycle road or the “bury” road.  The environmentalists have a more alliterative expression of what to do that’s more philosophical.  For instance, the political debate that’s going on in our nation’s smallest state:

"Burning waste to make energy is a bad deal for Rhode Island and the nation," said Chris Wilhite, Program Manager for Sierra Club Rhode Island Chapter. "By producing less disposable packaging and goods in the first place, we will create much less trash to burden our landfill and at the same time our country will save enough energy to displace any need for new power plants. The solution is to reduce, reuse and recycle."

The extension of the Rhode Island argument poses an ominous end for All Waste employees and its competitors.  Realistically, Sherman has taken a very sensible and proactive philosophy of his own to mesh his company’s mission with the mission of every human on earth:  Protect thy Planet.  And in so doing, Sherman has taken All Waste down “the road less traveled:” the Recycle Road.  No other trash hauling company has raised the banner of recycling higher than All Waste.

Rogers promotes the recycling cause with All Waste by discounting his clients and customers when they separate their refuse into piles of reusable items and materials that should not enter landfills, i.e. wood products, asphalt, shingles, etc.

Secondly, All Waste is a huge contributor to the Clinton River Basin Cleanup Project every year.  Sherman’s big blue, Mack trucks are right there along side the Clinton River with the many volunteers ready to pick up their roll off container bins with any and all the debris they can hold.  This year’s date to cleanup the river is Saturday, September 26, 2009.
