IT Professional Services (ITPS), a Managed Services Provider (MSP) and computer systems consultancy, announced today that it has been accepted into the Microsoft Online Service Provider and Forefront Online Security for Exchange programs. ITPS is now also a Communications Sector Partner has been granted permission to sell to Qualified Educational End User at a highly discounted price. IT Professional Services and Microsoft signed a Services Provider Licensing Agreement (SPLA) to seal the deal.

The Microsoft Services Provider Licensing Agreement (SPLA) is Microsoft's Software+Service (other wise know as Software as a Service--SaaS)
According to IT Professional Services' Darryl Roberts, "Being a SPLA Service Provider now enables IT Professional Services to license Microsoft software to our clients for a low monthly fee without the large upfront investment many companies have to incur to license Microsoft products."

Instead of just our services, we are now bundling software and hardware into our Managed Care service. Now instead of our customers having to pay up front for a three-year license for a fixed number of users for spam (junk mail) filtering, we can bundle in Forefront Online Security for Exchange, pay monthly without a long-term commitment or a huge up front cost, and be able to change the number of users of the service any month."
